Aperture door systems can be a unique enhancement to an aircraft hangar and are well suited for retrofit projects.

Use of aperture doors with a standard steel sliding door system provides an economical way to permit the service of aircraft larger than what a given hangar can normally accommodate. The aperture door includes a cushioned opening that seals against the aircraft fuselage at the point where the hangar door intersects with the aircraft leaving the tail of the aircraft outside the hangar.
